Products overview

Company Agrokuras produce a range of peat based fuels for domestic and industrial customers. Fuel is made from 100% natural products with no additives or binders. This fuel is produced using a complex and energy efficient process. Pressed peat is much drier than turf and easier to light. It produce more heat when burned and less smoke. Pressed peat is an environmentally friendly solid fuel, due to low sulphur emissions. Pressed peat is low-cost , ecological clear and easy heat. It is an environment friendly fuel for use in big central heating systems as well as in private houses. Combustion of pellets would never give additional carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. Thus, no hazzard of green house effect.

Our company also produce Block peat for horticultural use.

Block peat
Block peat is extracted by hand and dried by help of sun and wind ready for horticultural use. This semi-dark peat can be use for energy also. Our company can supply 5000-10000 cubic metre of block peat every year.

Peat briquettes
Peat Briquettes are made from 100% natural products with no additives or binders. They are produced using a complex and energy efficient process. Each briquette is a small block of highly compressed dry peat. The process of manufacturing Peat Briquettes has a number of stages. Peat which has been milled on the surface of the bog, is air dried and stored. It is then brought to the factory. Different grades of peat are carefully blended in the factory to ensure raw material consistency. It is then ground to a fine particle size and dried to about 10% moisture content using heat from large industrial boilers at this stage, the peat is a fine, powdery material. The peat is extruded through a twin-stamp briquette press. The compression is sufficient to bind the remaining water with the peat, so forming the briquette. When the Peat Briquettes have cooled they are baled and palletised.

peat pellets
Peat pellets are a low-cost fuel, and usage is easily automated. They are dry, easy to handle, produce low amounts of dust and are of consistent quality. Pellets are a natural fuel since no additives are used in their production. The regular shape and shiny surface of the pellets come from the the pressing process. Pelletising enables efficient transport, successful storage and automated combustion.
