Company UAB "Agrokuras" was established in 2000 specialy for peat fuel production project. It's comparely new, but fast growing company, dealing with peat fuel (briquettes and pallets). Company is 100% privately-owned.
  • At this time we own 500 of hectares peat-bog in Lithuania.
  • The peat-bog is about 30% under exploitation
  • Peat fields is from 1 metre to 2 metre in deep
  • All fiealds are equiped with drainage canel system.
  • The total capacity of peat-bog is about 5.000.000 cubic metre of peat. 
  • 40.000 tons of peat already extracted and stored in big piles located on peat-bog.
  • On 120 hectares around peat-bog is growing 35-45 years old birch wood which must be cut down for fire-prevention.
  • Near peat-bog are 2 comercial buldings : workshop for making peat fuel (1400 square metres) and house for workers (600 square metres). 
  • From workshop to peat-bog was build a narrow-gauge railway.
  • The distance from workshop bulding to peat bog is 2-6 km.
